Multiple Colour Mixing

I painted this card for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. Our challenge this week is hosted by Linda and she has picked this video for everyone to watch this week.

I watched the video and thought to myself "no blue for me". It never fails, using blue will be a disaster for me.

For colour I used Schmincke watercolours, being May Green, Cadmium Yellow Light and Yellow Orange; Daniel Smith watercolours in Quinacridone Pink and Opera Pink, Lemon Yellow and Winsor Newton Orange/Red and Orange and Payne's Grey.

I am using Tim Holtz watercolour paper which I normally do not use, but felt it would be okay for this painting.

I stamped a sentiment by Honey Bee stamps called My Favourite Flower using VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis.

To add a bit of dimension I attached the watercolour panel to my Neenah cardbase using foam tape. I finished with splatters of Quinacridone Pink.

Thank you for joining me today. I do hope you enjoy this card.
