Meet "I am stamping!"
This sweet image by Taylored Expressions called Get Crafty is so cute and really fun to colour. As the pieces are all small I used my Sharpie's to colour.
I admit, I have every colour one could want when it comes to Sharpie's, so picking colours was not difficult, and the colours show up perfectly too!
I stamped the image using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black to begin with, then followed up with the colours. The silver metallic is from a silver metallic pen.
Once I finished the colouring I die cut the image with the coordinating die that comes with the image. I then picked out a piece of yellow designer paper from my stash and attached the image using foam squares.
I then ran my embossing folder through my Platinum machine embossing the background for this card using Spellbinders Argyle Plaid. I love Spellbinders embossing folders as I get two impressions for one pass. i.e. the embossing folders are 8.5 x 5.5 - perfection!
I cut the embossed piece in half and trimmed it to 5.25 x 4.0 and attached it in place using Art Glitter glue. I did the same with the piece for the inside of my card.
Using thin foam squares I attached the yellow background paper in place, then adding more thin foam squares I attached the image.
I finished by stamping the sentiment for the inside using the same background paper and embossing folder along with thin foam squares.
Thanks so much for joining me today. I do hope you enjoy this card as I certainly enjoyed making it.
See you next time.
