Hydrangea

This is "Hydrangea".

A beautiful Hydrangea stencil by A Colorful Life Designs. I could not resist colouring this up for today's card using colours we all are familiar with for Hydrangeas.

Using Hammermill cardstock I applied the colours using Pinkfresh Inks in Storm, Lavender, Keylime, and Turquoise which I used on the flower centres. The leaves and stems are done using the Keylime, with the Storm and Lavender on the flowers.

Once I finished with the stenciling I added splatters using the greens, mostly toward the bottom of the card, with only a bit towards the top.

When dry I added Turquoise to the flower centres, then stamped the sentiment on the front using Pinkfresh Stamp Always Uplifting in VersaFine Clair Nocturne.

I attached the card front to a Neenah cardbase using foam tape for added dimension. Just that bit of depth makes a difference.

For the inside of the card I stenciled just the blossom using the same ink colours as shown on the front of the card on a piece of Hammermill cardstock.

I then stamped the sentiment in place, again using the VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne, which finished my card.

Thanks so much for joining me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card which I certainly enjoyed making.

See you next time.
