Happy Birthday

This is "Happy Birthday".

I wanted to make another shaker card using the pouches from Trinity Stamps, which I found so fun to do. I also wanted to use some unusual colour combinations, so the card could be for anyone.

My colours are twisted citron, pine needles and chipped sapphire. My background embossing folder is from Spellbinders and called Luxe Backdrop and Border.

My cardstock is Neenah, which I cut to the size of the pouch, being 4 x 5.25.

After folding up the three sides and securing in place I added a bunch of sequins in various colours and sizes through the open top, then sealed the opening in place.

I added the panel to my Neenah cardbase using two sided tape, which is strong enough to keep it in place.

I then made a piece for the inside of my card, using the same colours as on the card front. I added splatters to the piece and set it aside to dry.

In my mini Misti, I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from Hero Arts on dark blue cardstock and heat embossed using white embossing powder, the cut out with the coordinating die.

In the Misti I arranged the inside piece of card and stamped using the birthday sentiment by Spellbinders called "Fill my Heart" and heat embossed using white embossing powder.

I attached the piece to the card inside, then glued the "Happy Birthday" in place on the card front using Art Glitter glue.

A super fun card for a birthday anytime.

Thank you for visiting today.

See you next time.
