Floral Trio

 

Meet "Floral Trio".

I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. Today we are visiting the site of Twig and Tweed, or their Pinterest page.

I found my inspiration on the Pinterest site. In my mini Misti I stamped the Floral Trio using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I then coloured the image using Copic markers in R35, R43, RV25; Y08; B41 and B52.

I then die cut the piece using the coordinating die.

Using my Platinum 6 die cutting machine I ran the Altenew embossing folder Organic Linen through twice to make two pieces of embossed card, one for my card front and one for inside my card.

To add some colour to the embossing folder I ran my ink pad if Stormy Sky down along the grain, which inked up just the high parts of the embossed backgrounds.

I attached the embossed pieces using Art Glitter glue. On the floral piece and using my stylus I molded areas of the card to add some movement.

I then attached the floral arrangement using foam squares.

I repeated the texture on the embossed image for the inside of my card, and added the stamped and die cut sentiment from the set using Wendy Vecchi Make Art ink in Cornflower Blue.
