This is "Petite Mountain Aven" by Altenew.
It seems like ages since I have worked with any Altenew stamps or dies. I love this Petite Mountain Aven, which I kept white with the yellow centres.
For my background I decided to emboss a sheet of Hammermill cardstock using Spellbinders Flowers & Foliage embossing folder.
For colour I kept it minimal, using YG17 for the leaves, and Y08 for the flower centres. I glued the background to my Neenah cardbase using Art Glitter glue. On the inside I cut a smaller piece of the embossed card and glued it to a piece of Hammermill, then glued all in place.
On a scrap of Neenah cardstock I stamed the "hello" which is from Honeybee Stamp and Dies called "My Favorite Flower".
I molded the petals up slightly with my fingers before glueing them in place, again using Art Glitter glue.
As I was glueing the flowers in place I held the petals up as the glue dried to keep the shape of the flowers, then tucked the leaves in place under the flowers.
It is probably the first time in a long time that I have not used foam squares on anything today. These flowers did not need extra support.
Thank you for joining me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card.
See you next time.
