Hello Friend

 

This is "Hello Friend".

I made this card for the Inspiration challenge at Splitcoaststampers today where we are visiting Made in B. They also have a Pinterest site.

My inspiration came from the colours of these dishes found here. 

I am using Penny Black's "Trailing" vine along with distress oxide inks in Cracked Pistachio, Salvaged Patina and Evergreen Bough.

In my Misti I inked up the stamp with the colours, then spritzed with water before stamping. As I am using Hammermill cardstock I only left the stamp on the paper for a short minute. 

I do like how the colours blended together though.

Once the piece was dry I die cut it the card using my Pinkfresh Notched Corner frame dies. I then attached the top piece to the Neenah cardbase using foam tape.

For the inside of the card I used the same dies and attached the cardstock to the Neenah base using Art Glitter glue.

To finish up I stamped the sentiments from the Hero Arts Wild Flowers set using VersaFine Clair ink in Warm Breeze.
