Black Eyed Susan

 

I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com today. This week we are visiting the site of "Miss Jophiel" or their "Pinterest" site.

I found my "inspiration" on their Pinterest site.

The die I decided to use is from Spellbinders and called Black Eyed Susan. I first embossed a background for my card using Spellbinders "Leafy" background folder.

I attached the Leafy embossed piece to my Neenah card front using Art Glitter glue.

I then die cut the pieces for the flower and leaves and the flower centre and coloured the pieces using Copic markers in the following colours.

Y08, Y17; G14, G07 and E79 which is a very dark brown, almost black.

I ran out of time when making this card, but tomorrow I will finish the inside of the card using one flower and a sentiment and the leafy embossing folder.

I do like how this card looks with those beautiful flowers.
