Spring Easter card

 

This is "Spring Easter card".

I made this card to share with you on Easter Sunday. I am using a Altenew Embossing folder called Dreamy Daylilies, which I think is so beautiful.

To colour this embossing folder I am using Copic markers. I started with E40 which I applied to all the blooms. I then moved on to the greens which are YG03 and YG25; The yellow is Y13 and Y08; with the stamens being YR18.

Once I finished with the colouring I cut some Jelly Bean Green cardstock by Gina K Designs which I angled, then topped with the Lilies, which are angled in the opposite direction.

In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiments from the stamp set Early Spring by Gina K Designs, using VersaFine Clair ink in Summertime.

I also stamped the sentiment for the inside of the card, again using a sentiment from the Early Spring stamp set and the VersaFine Clair Summertime ink.

I trimmed up the sentiment strip and attached it to my card front using foam squares.

I then turned my attention to the inside of my card where I attached a piece of 5.25 square piece of Hammermill cardstock. I then cut two panels, which are each 3.0" x 4.75 and attached each on an angel.

In a separate piece of card I stamped the Happy Easter sentiment, again using the VersaFine Clair ink in Summertime.

I finished up by adding Pinkfresh Gems to my card front in Pixie Dust.

*When I was cleaning up I found 3 of the tiny gems, so I glued them to the inside of the card, but that was after I had already taken the picture. lol
