Happy Vibes

Meet Happy Vibes!

I made this card for the Inspiration challenge at Splitcoaststampers today where we visited Mackenzie Myrick. My inspiration comes from this tray.

One thing I liked most about the tray was the black and white design with the bee. I used an old die by Photo Play called "Floral Coverplate", along with a Bee Die by Sizzix.

For the background I used Gina K Designs Black Onyx cardstock, gluing it to the floral coverpate, then attaching all to my Neenah cardbase.

In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set "Happy Vibes" on a strip of cardstock, then cut it to fit my card front and attached.

I then die cut the bee from Tim Holtz watercolour card and coloured the bottom using a 110 Copic marker and glued the two pieces together, then attached to my card front using foam dots.

I then attached black pearls in the centres of the florals.

For the inside of  my card I used the coordinating stencil to do the background. I then cut a piece for the sentiment, outlining it with Copic 110 marker, and stamping using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
I do like how this card turned out, and I hope you enjoy it as well. I thank you for visiting with me today.

See you next time.
