Foilage

Meet "Foilage".

This is the first time I have used Lucky Clover for a background! I could not believe that when I was looking at previous cards. So, today was the day.

The leaf dies and sentiment dies are by Spellbinders Simon Hurley, and were a freebie from Scrapbook.com. I die cut two of the stems along with the sentiment.

I then die cut the Postage Stamp Stacklet for the green piece, and die cut another piece using three die cuts to make the frame.

Using Lucky Clover distress oxide I coloured the full frame piece. To put it together I attached foam strips to the frame, and attached the top frame border, then added Art Glitter glue to the back and attached it to my Neenah card front.

I added the sentiment using thin foam squares to attach, along with Pinkfresh Enchanted Forest gems.

It is hard to see but the gems are blue and green, which look very pretty on the Lucky Clover base.

Moving to the inside of the card I again cut a die cut from using three of the Postage Stamp Stacklet frames to make my frame. These extra frames never go to waste, I store them along with the dies to use the next time.

I attached the frame to a piece of 4.0x5.25" piece of Hammermill cardstock then placed the piece in my mini Misti and stamped the sentiment which is from Pinkfresh and called Happy Vibes

Using Art glitter glue I attached the Hammermill card to my cardbase.

Thanks for having a look today. See you next time.
