Wild Flowers

Meet "Wild Flowers".

Today I am sharing two cards with you, one by myself and the other made by my friend Joyce. We were playing with inks for backgrounds, then finished a card each using Hero Arts stamps and dies.

For the background we did smooshing using Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn and Carved Pumpkin. We then watercoloured the flowers using Daniel Smith watercolours, and stamped our sentiments using VersaFine Clair ink in Summertime.

Once everything was dry we die cut the pieces using the coordinating dies.

Joyce watercoloured with a pale blue for her flowers making for a delicate look. She attached her sentiment across the stem of the flowers, gluing in place using Art Glitter glue.

We both opted for the sweet butterfly, painting it using the colours from the card and backgrounds that were made.

To finish the cards we framed the watercolour piece using Gina K Designs Black Onyx cardstock, then attached the piece to the left side of the A2 card.

The butterflies and flowers were attached using foam dots. I glued my sentiment to the right side of my card for a bit of a change.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards, they were fun to make and fun to share.

See you next time.
