Snowflake Love

This is "Snowflake Love".

I was in the mood to play with inks and stencils today, and I just happen to have some stencils that need some inking. Before I went further I first sprayed my stencil using Pixie Spray.
And, as it is a dreary day here, and looks like snow, what better stencil than a snowflake, so I pulled out this beauty by A Colorful Life Designs called Jewel Snowflake.

I was thinking pink initially, but after playing with Unchartered Mariner yesterday, I wanted to use it and play again with colours and some sparkle.
I went with Unchartered Mariner, Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean and Speckled Egg. I did not know if they would work, but as they were all on the same shelf of my ink holder, I felt they would work.

Yes, that is how I decided some days! As it turns out I think they work beautifully together and they are easy to blend as well.
In my mini Misti I placed my sentiment stamp where I wanted and proceeded to add splatter from the nossle of my little container of Perfect Pearls mixed with water, along with Winsor Newton White Goauche.

I then continued with inking up my stamp using VersaFine Clair Ink in Twilight, using two passes to get good coverage.
I think you can see the glitter spots around the card, the ones that are not white, which add such a pretty sparkle to the finished card.
