Merry Making

Meet "Merry Making".

I just love this stamp from Penny Black, which is called MerryMaking. The little animals are too cute, and the layout of the design is perfect I think.
I am using a cardstock with a light grey shade for my background, stamping with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I coloured the images using Copic markers, and white gel pen.

My Copic colours are: Snowman and Snow B00, B01; Snowman Scarf G03, G07 and White gel pen; Second Scarf R27 and White Gel pen; Little Bear Scarf YG25 and White gel pen; Bear little E13, E15 and E17; Large Bear E13, E17, E59 and E39; Top Hat C5, C6, C8 and R27; Cheeks R22; Twigs E39; Fur on Hats is B01; and Highlights Y04.
For the sentiment I used a Spellbinders "Christmas Sentiments" sentiment which I had previously foiled using a Turquoise foil and die cut it out using the coordinating die that comes in the set.

To accent the piece a little more I went around the edges of the card using my Copic marker in B01, which I think adds a nice hint of a small border.
I attached the piece to my Neenah cardbase using Art Glitter glue, then attached the sentiment using thin foam squares.

I also added the round shiny embellishments, which are flat, but I think they add a finishing touch to the final design.

That finishes this card.  I am smiling, as I hope you all are at how cute it is.

Thanks so much for joining me today.

See you next time.
