Meet "In The Blues".
While perusing the challenge Pinterst pages I kept coming back to this table display, which I love. So, I finally settled on it to use for my inspiration. I am using the cardstock for the white, and the leaves and background for the blues, along with the cuttlery for the gold.

I am using Hammermill cardstock for my layering cardstock, and my cardbase is Neenah. To die cut the leaves I have used Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper.
I used Pinkfresh inks for this card today, along with Altenew Leaf Mix dies. First, using my Empress I die cut the stitched circle. I then ran the piece through my Empress using Gina K Designs Falling Leaves Embossing folder.
Using the Fabriano watercolour paper I die cut the leaves using my Empress machine. I then made 3 puddles with Pinkfresh inks using the Sapphire, Bluejay and Slumber ink colours and dragged my die cut leaves through the inks, then set aside to dry.
I glued the embossed piece to my card base using Art Glitter glue. I then added splatters to the background and card base using Nuvo Glitter pens,
gold watercolour and
white gouache.
I then arranged and glued in place the leaves, again using Art Glitter glue.
To finish up I stamped the sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps using VersaFine Clair ink in Blue Belle.
This was a fun card to make, and I hope you have enjoyed it.
See you next time.
