Christmas Joy

Meet "Joy of the Season".

The embossing folder in the background is by Sizzix and called "Winter Foliage". The stamp set is by Pinkfresh called "Berry Branch" stamp and die.
This card is so easy to make, yet so very pretty for the Christmas season, when we are all busy making Christmas cards to send to family and friends.

Colouring is easy using two shades of red and two shades of green. For this card I used YG09 and G07 on the leaves, and RV29, R46 for the berries. I also left white space on the berries for highlights.
Once I was finished with the colouring, using the coordinating die, I cut the piece out. I attached the background to my Neenah card front using Art Glitter glue.

Using thin foam squares I attached the branch to the card front. In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair Ink in Green Oasis, and fussy cut around it before attaching to my card front using foam squares.
Although I have not done the inside yet, I think I will emboss another piece of the Winter Foliage in a strip and attach it to a piece of Hammermill card, which is what I normally use inside my card.

Unfortunately it does not show up in the picture, but I added Glitter Brush Marker to the berries for a bit of sparkle on this Christmas card. Thanks so much for spending some time with me. I hope you have enjoyed the making of this card.

See you next time.
