Great Friends

This is "Great Friends".

It was the sentiment that had me making this card this morning. And these two critters from Colorado Craft Company speak volumes when it comes to our friends I think.

To make this friendship special I decided to background it with pink flowers which would show off the two critters perfectly.

For that on Neenah cardstock I used A Colorful Life Designs stencil called Flower Ball along with distress oxide inks in Spun Sugar for the centre and Worn Lipstick for the outer flowers.

Using Hammermill cardstock and my mini Misti I stamped the critters using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and proceeded to colour using Copic markers in the following colours.

The Mouse - W1, W4, W8; The Cat is E57, 25, E53 with the face in E11, E15, and the collar RV11.

When done with my colouring I die cut the critters using the coordinating die set and attached them in the centre of the flower Ball using foam squares.

Back to my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Chianti, which is a mix of brown and reds, so pretty.

This was another one of those easy and fun cards to make, and I hope you have enjoyed it as well. The name of the stamp set is Furever Friends for those interested.

Thanks so much for joining me today.

See you next time.
