Birdies Thinking of You

This is "Birdies Thinking of You".

As it worked out, this card pretty well made itself. I started with a Neenah card base along with a piece of Yupo and alcohol inks in a blue, yellow and green, oh and a piece of yellow cardstock to use on the inside of the card.
To start I put down the alcohol inks where it looked visually pleasing to me. Using Ranger's ink blower I blew on the inks to get some movement happening, until I was happy with the look.

I wanted to die cut the piece and as I did not think about that before applying the ink, I placed a piece of waxed paper over the ink work to protect it while die cutting using the wonky rectangles.
As it turned out, I loved the look the waxed paper had on the piece, subtle and yes, textured. So I decided it would stay in place.

It pretty well was stuck in place with the inks, but I added a thin line of adhesive around the edges using Art Glitter adhesive, then adhered the piece to my card base.
For the birdies and the cloud I sttamped using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I then stamped the sentiment on the cloud, again using the Tuxedo Black ink. To colour I used Copic markers in Y15, Y13 and Y11 and for the beak I used YR07.

To finish I added on a few Sprinkletz from the Chicks'n Bunnies set.
This was definitely a fun card to make and I hope you enjoyed it as well. Following are Affiliate links for the products I have used for this card at no extra cost to you.
