Love Quilt

This is "Love Quilt".

I love this die set by Concord and 9th, it was so fun to put together and pick out the colours to use for the quilt. Back before cards took over my place I was a quilter, and there remains a lot of fabric in my chests still waiting for me!
For this card I started with the Quilted embossing folder where I added the smooshing technique using Pinkfresh inks in Mint, Mermaid Cover and Ocean Breeze.

While I set the piece aside to dry I die cut the pieces for the Quilt, along with some extra hearts. I sponged on each of the colours I used.
For the Heart colours I used Distress inks in Picked Raspberry and Candied Apple, and on the small hearts I coloured with Copic colour BG49.

To put it together I attached foam sheets to the back of the Quilted embossing folder piece and attached it to my Neenah card base.
Using Art Glitter glue I attached the Quilt piece to the card, centering it with the Quilted embossing folder. I then attached the small die cut hearts.

I did consider some sparkle, but this is a quilt and one normally does not find a quilt with sparkle on it!
Giggles.
On the inside I die cut a piece of card 4 x 5.25 and ran it through with the Quilted embossing folder again, then attached a few of the hearts in various sizes.

Thanks so much for joining me today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I have used for this card, at no extra costs to you.
