Happy Winter

This is "Happy Winter".

For my card base I am using Neenah cardstock. In my mini Misti I stamped the image by Creative Expressions directly to the front of my card using Rustic Wilderness distress ink spritzed with a perfect pearl solution. I did a couple of passes to esnure a good impression.
Moving to the Snowman I stamped on Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. I then proceeded to watercolour using distress inks in Rustic Wilderness and Salvaged Patina, along with Black Soot for the hat.

I also added a light wash to the snowman's face with the Salvaged Patina and added Abandoned Coral distress ink on his nose.

Once dry I added a second light layer of the salvaged patina and rustic wilderness to the snowman, which enhanced his look, then dried the snowman with my heat tool. I then die cut the snowman using the coordinating die set.

In my mini Misti I arranged where I wanted the snowman, and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis.

I then attached the snowman in place using large foam squares.

For the inside I cut a piece of cardstock 5.25 x 4.0. I stamped the matching smaller tree inside using Salvaged Patina distress ink, and stamped another sentiment using the VersaFine Clair Green Oasis, then glued the piece in place.

To finish I added a few embellishments by Picket Fence Studios.
