Chilly and Freezy

This is "Chilly and Freezy".

For some reason I happened upon SSS with Tim Holtz Cyber Monday livestream! In that they had this giveaway with the purchase of I think it was $25.00 of other product. I rarely shop at SSS preferring Scrapbook.com, but hey a freebie is a freebie and these are the cutest snowmen ever!
I decided I would die cut these cuties out using die cutting foam. If you have not heard of this foam before, it actually holds its shape when die cut, not flattening out and becoming bigger. Super cool for crafting!

But, I am getting ahead of myself here. For this card I am using Neenah cardstock for my base, and two panels cut to 4"x5.25".

Using one of the panels and a stencil from A Colorful Life Design called Dotted Double Wave, which feels like snowbanks of snow to me I applied distress oxide inks in different colours.
While I had the inks out I also did the panel for the inside of my card using only the Salvaged Patina.

Back to Chilly and Freezy. I die cut all the necessary pieces, some twice, needed for the snowmen. On the male snowman I applied a bit of Tumbled Glass around the edges.
Using Copic markers I coloured the necessary pieces, pinks for the female and greens for the male. The noses were done with YR07 and YR18. The greens are G05 and G07; and the pinks are RV02 and RV06. The twigs are E44 and E57. The buttons and eyes are B39.

I attached the top panel using the foam to my card base with Nuvo adhesive. I then glued in place the snowmen along with the heart, which is on a foam square, and applied a bit of Midas Touch to it.
To finish I added my foiled sentiment from Spellbinders.

I am happy with the way this card turned out - it is fun! I thank you for visiting with me today.
