Acorns in Fall

It is time for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com.

I am hosting today's challenge and have picked this video for the challenge. As I am not the best person at drawing I opted to cheat with only two acorns and one leaf!

I did however follow the instructions in the video. I did not have Terre Verte watercolour, so used a water-downed Green Apatite Genuine.
Of course, while painting someone came to the door. When getting up to answer a drip of the brown watercolour dropped off my brush and landed smack in the middle of my leaf, which I did not see.

When I came back it was clear it was there to stay, and with little choice I am working with it!

I have not cut up my Fabriano hot press sheets as of yet, so I used Ranger distress watercolour paper.

Once I was finished with the watercolour I attached the card panel to a Gina K. Design card base. At some point I will add a sentiment, when I know what I will be using this for.

Thanks so much for visiting today.
