Heart You

Meet "Heart You".

When I saw this die it was showing off a floral pattern paper, and it was gorgeous. I was wondering how I could change it up, because, well ... you know what florals do!
It was then I remembered I had this designer series paper by Lawn Fawn called Starry Skies, which I decided I could use, and as the paper has gold foiled stars with patterns of stars and hearts, the dipper constellations, and other constellations I could use the gold foil for the die.

I wanted to use the blue, and the white, so I decided to fill the diamond boxes with the blue designer paper first, then trim the white down and attach using full coverage foam.
I have to wonder about myself some days, why do I get myself into these things? lol

The card is photographed on an angle which is why the white shows under the blue. When looking at the card straight on, this does not show.
It took some time to do all the trimming etc., and I wish the card displayed better, but I think my efforts were worth it.

I finished off with the heart and you die cut using white glitter cardstock. The little heart is attached to the top of the "you" word, and I coloured it with blue gliter marker. The larger heart is two pieces, hence I coloured the outside trim piece with the blue glitter marker as well.
I wanted to show you the full on view of the card so I took a flat picture to share. The light colour you see is from the window, it is not the white card.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you enjoyed my little test for paper designs with a diamond die. I am sure I will come up with other designs to use for the Christmas Season.

Following are Affiliate links for the products I used for this card, at no extra cost to you. I thank you very much for your continued support.
