Happy Autumn Season

This is "Happy Autumn Season".

I would like to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian readers.

And this stamp set is new to me, as is the manufacturer of these stamps. AND, they are a Canadian Company - how cool is that?
With it being fall and Canada's Thanksgiving I thought these pumpkins appropriate to colour up. I used Distress Inks for this card, including the background panel.

Oranges, greens and blue tones make for a beautiful card I think. The stamp in the orange is a solid stamp, meaning the ink is applied and stamped. The middle pumpkin is a negative pumpkin meaning the stamp consists of the lines of the pumpkin, the balance being applied by me.
I made two of the solid stamps and one of the lines stamp. The one solid I used Carved Pumpkin and spritzed with water before stamping on Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper. The second solid pumpkin I used Crackling Campfire and spritzed with water before stamping.

For the middle pumpkin I stamped using Rustic Wilderness then watercoloured using distress ink in Mowed Lawn and Evergreen Bough.
For the handles I used Distress Ink in Walnut Stain. I then die cut the pumpkins and splattered with Peacock Feathers and Rustic Wilderness and set aside.

To do the background I used Tim Holtz Distress Watercolour paper and smooshed with distress inks. I used Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, and Rustic Wilderness, and splattered using White Gouache and Rustic Wilderness.
Once everything was dry I attached the background to my card base using foam tape. Using foam squares I attached the pumpkins, then snuck the leaves in behind the pumpkins, also using foam squares.

I opted to leave the midribs/veins in the natural colour of the paper and glued them on to the leaves using Nuvo adhesive.

In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Pinecone.

Thank you for joining me today. I very much appreciate your visit. Following are Affiliate links for the products I used for this card, at no extra cost to you.
