Sunshine Thoughts

 

Meet "Sunshine Thoughts".

Today's card I have done for the Scrap'n Stamp Random Act of Cardness series, with today's prompt being "Sunshine".

This card is also a thank you card for my Veterinarian and her team for all they have done for me. I did not want it to be a sad card, instead I opted for yellows.

I started by taping off sections on the left side of my card panel. I brushed on distress inks in Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed, alternating between the two.

I then die cut the sun, clouds and hearts from the Rainbow Builder set using my Gemini Jr. For the sun I applied squeezed lemonade distress ink. 

To the cloud tops I added tumbled glass, and to the hearts I applied squeezed lemonade along with the tumbled glass, giving the green colour. To put the panel together I added the sun using foam squares. Using distress ink in Mustard Seed on the one cloud I stamped the sentiment, then stamped the "and" below where the clouds would be using the same ink. I then glued on the hearts and the gem.

To put my card together, on a Neenah 110lb card base, I added a piece of Gina K Design Wild Dandelion for matting. I then attached my decorated panel.To finish I added a crystal gem from Studio Katia to the middle heart. I then did the inside using the same layering along with using a sentiment from the Bitty Buzzword sets, thanking everyone.
