Rainbow Wishes

Introducing "Rainbow Wishes".

This card I have made for Scrap'n Stamp's Random Act of Cardness for today, where my prompt word is Rainbow.
I have to say this was such a fun card to make with all the elements that come with this set. I started by die cutting the the Rainbow Builder A2 card using Hammermill cardstock.

I placed the die cut Rainbow piece in my Misti and began stamping the rainbow images using distress inks in Barn Door, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Rustic Wilderness and Blueprint Sketch.
I die cut the sun pieces and coloured using Copic markers for the bottom piece and Squeezed Lemonade distress ink for the top then glued the Sun to my card base.

I then glued the Rainbow die cut piece together using Nuvo adhesive, and attached it to my card again using Nuvo adhesive. This adds a bit more dimension to my card.
Moving on to the clouds, sentiment and the stars I die cut all the pieces needed, and stamped those that had coordinating stamps and dies.

The sentiment "Rainbow" from the "Look for the Rainbow" stamp set was stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Tulip then die cut with the coordinating die and attached using foam strips. The balance of the sentiment was stamped with VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and added to the card using foam strips.
And the clouds were die cut and brushed with distress oxide ink in Tumbled Glass, then attached using foam strips. I then coloured the bottom edge of the clouds with Nuvo glitter.

To finish up I die cut the stars from the Rainbow Dream die set, attaching with Nuvo adhesive, then coloured with Nuvo Midas Touch.
