Be Happy

This is "Be Happy".

A clean and simple design for today using stencils and a stamp for the inside. I decided to use Hammermill paper for this card, and I dare say, I do love the way the inks blend on it, it is not as much work as it takes on Neenah, for me at least.
The stencil is from A Colorful Life Designs and is called "Zinnia". It has the 3 flower sizes, but there is also another stencil which has one large Zinnia, which I have included below in the shopping list.

For blending I used Oxide inks in Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry. Using the Makes You Happy stencil I added the sentiment using Wendy Vecchi's Make Art ink pad in Thistle. I love these colours together.
To finish up the front of my clean and simple card I added a few gems in the same colour as the sentiment, oh so pretty!

Moving to the inside on a seperate piece of Hammermill card I again stenciled the larger of the Zinnia's using the same inks as noted above.
I then stamped the Papertrey Ink sentiment using the Thistle ink. I like the simplicity of the inside of the card as well ... keeping with the clean and simple design.

This finished my card for today, which I hope you have enjoyed.
I have to admit that I do love clean and simple cards. But I am also one of those cardmakers that likes to try just about everything, so I don't want to be stuck on one design, as you may have noticed!
