Let me introduce you to "The Zest".
First, just to let you know I had to use my studio lights for photographing today as it is a dark rainy day here. They do make a difference and I probably should always use them, it is called being lazy!
To start my card I am using Neenah 110lb cardstock for the base. And for stamping the images I used Hammermill 100lb cardstock, which I love for Copic colouring, which I did.
First, the frame is die cut three (3) times, glued together with the yellow cardstock on the top and white below, then glued to my base.
To colour the images I used Copic markers as follows: Lemons Y02, Y08, Y17; Flowers Y00, BG11; Leaves G05, G09, G19.
The images were coloured and cut then styled with my stylist which gives a lot of movement. In my Misti I stamped the sentiment using the Memento ink, then attached the styled lemons and flowers using foam tape and squares.
On the inside I die cut 2 white frames and attached them to a piece of yellow cardstock that is slightly bigger. I then added a lemon, leaves and a flower to the left side of the card mid way up and stamped the sentiment "Wish I could give you a Squeeze" in the Memento ink.
To the front I added a few enamel dots in the yellow and blue green colours.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it. This stamp set is such a great set and so versatile.
