A Colorful Life Designs July Release

Welcome to A Colorful Life Designs July Stencil release. I have done 9 cards for this release, which I will share with you today.

For the card above I used the Striped Balls 6x6 stencil along with distress oxide inks in various colours. For three (3) of the balls I turned the stencil which allowed me to make them gingham balls.

Once I finished with the inking I stamped the sentiments using VersaFine Clair ink in Glamorous, then matted the piece and attached it to my Neenah white cardbase.
This is Fairway Ball stencil. I decided to do it in Kitsch Flamingo as I really like Bubba Watson, who is known to use pink golf balls and pink clubs. A good friend also golfs weekly, so I thought she would enjoy the card as well.

My card is 5.5 x 5.5 Neenah card. I die cut the sentiment using Neenah card and coloured with Copic marker RV04 halfway up on the top of 3 layers. The heart was attached to the card front using Vellum tape, and the die cut sentiment were glued on with Nuvo adhesive.
When I was looking at this stencil thinking about colours I kept thinking "watermelon". I counted the lines and decided on 2 each of the colours would cover the colours from a watermelon. Using Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Festive Berries and Fired Brick.

I then mixed the two red colours together and spritzed with a fair amount of water, then dragged the die cut summer sentiment through the inks x 3 layers. I die cut the tiny dies spelling "FUN" and glued them to the card using just the one layer. I really like how my "watermelon" card turned out, it was fun to make.

This is Separate Ways stencil. I wanted to use some of my favourite colours, hence used Mermaid Lagoon on the bottom, Peacock Feathers on the top and Cracked Pistachio in the middle.

For the inside I spritzed the stencil with the left-over ink and added a piece of Neenah card to it, rubbing the cardstock to ensure a good transfer, which I got. You can see a bit of the inside in the photo.

I die cut the leaf in the white cardstock attaching to the card front using foam squares. In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Warm Breeze.
This stencil is "Warp Speed". To colour I used Gelly Roll pens in Stardust and Metallic following the colours of the rainbow start from the top centre. The Metallic do not have a shimmer, so I added it using the clear Stardust pen.

I stamped the Momenta sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Glamorous. I then added foam tape to the back and adhered the piece to my card base, and finished with a few drops of Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
This is "Beautiful You". I love the magical swirls in this stencil and could not resist using some of my favourite colours again. On my Neenah card base I started with Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron.

I then die cut the "Beautiful" die x 3, gluing together, then gluing to the card front. The "you" is from a Gina K Design set and was stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Blue Belle then attached to the card using foam squares. To finish I added a few enamel dots.
This card is using the Geo Framework stencil which offers many a opportunity for colouring. Again I used some of my favourite colours for my design.

I die cut the Hi from Impression Obsession x 3, gluing the pieces together, then attaching to the card front. I then covered the circle using Glossy Accents, which gives a great look.
This stencil is "Striped Hexagon" which I coloured using rainbow colours. I taped off each of the 3 bars to add the colours one by one.

To finish up I added the Tim Holtz sentiment stamped with VersaFine Clair in Nocturne and attached it to the card front using foam squares.

And my last card is "Megaphone".
On a 5.5" card I stenciled using Ranger Opaque Texture Paste and set the card aside to dry. In the meantime I die cut the Cheer dies using Vellum and 3 pieces of cardstock for the cheer. I glued them together and coloured the top "Cheer" using Copic marker YR24.

Once the paste was dry I placed the stencil on top again and coloured using distress oxide inks in Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick and Speckled Egg.
