Sending Hugs

This is "Sending Hugs".

This card has been done for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. I am hostess this week and I have picked Easy Tiger Goods as our Inspiration site for this week. Inspiration for this card came from this wrapping paper.

To begin I die cut the flowers and leaves from the Memory Box set, cutting two if each flower. I used Copic markers to colour, using RV25 and YR09 for the flowers and G07, YG05 and YG07 on the leaves.

On a separate piece of Neenah cardstock and using A Colorful Life Designs stencil along with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron distress oxide inks I did a stencil monoprint design for my background. I also did one of these backgrounds for the inside of the card.

I attached the background piece to my card base using foam tape. I then styled the flowers and attached them together using foam squares and glued them to the card.

I coloured and styled the leaves tucking them in under the flowers. For the cones I added black micron pen along with a purple stardust glitter pen.

To finish up my card I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis. I filled in the hearts with a pink stardust glitter pen.
