Woof

Meet "Woof".

Another stamp set given to me to play with, and play I did. This dog reminded me so much of my Lhasa Apso, I just had to colour her up. My dogs name was Sweet Pea, and she did not have a upper bite, but otherwise the look it the same.
In my mini Misti using Neenah card I stamped the pieces I wanted to use from the set using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I then coloured using Copic markers and kept the colours simple as well as close to the colours of my dog.

The Copic colours I used are: Dog E41, E40, YR23; Flowers and Woof RV25, RV29 and R29; Leaves and Woof YG25, YG63; Nose C3, C5, C7.
For highlights on the nose, hearts and letters I used a white gel pen.

The background is done using a stencil from A Colorful Life Designs along with distress oxide inks in Cracked Pistachio and Evergreen Bough.
To finish up I attached the stencilled card to my card base, then attached the 3 dog pieces using foam squares. The inside is also done using the same stencil and colours.

The sentiment is the simple "Bark" with the letters coloured using the YG's except for the "R" which is done using the RV and R's.

I cut all of these pieces out with my Scan'n Cut as there are no dies for these stamps.

Such a fun card to make, bringing back some wonderful memories of the best dog ever!
