Go Wild

Let me introduce "Go Wild".

This is done for A Colorful Life Designs using their stencil Different Spots. I would normally not get this kind of stencil, but I thought it would make for a great masculine card, and I don't normally make those either. 😉
I first did some smooshing on a piece of Neenah cardstock using Rusty Hinge, Walnut Stain and Black Soot. While still damp I spritzed the panel with a mixture of Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls and water. This mixture is one that I always have made and ready to use, the Sunflower along with the Confetti White.

Once the panel was dry I put down the stencil over the background and stencilled using Brushed Corduroy Oxide ink.
I cut the background piece at 3 inches, leaving a piece 2.5 inches. For the card above I added matting using a piece of idea-ology cardstock and scor-pal adhesive tape, which I also used to affix the piece to my card base.

I found the sentiment in my older stamp bin and it had the perfect saying. I die cut the mat piece along with another white card using the Frantic Stamper die, adhering together with the tape and stamping in my mini Misti using VersaFine Clair ink.
This is "Spot".

This is the left over piece from the card above. Again I used Ranger card for matting, along with Kraft cardstock for my card base. The dark brown piece is done using Brushed Corduroy on a piece of Kraft card using my brushes.
To finish this card I stamped the sentiment, from the same older set using VersaFine Clair ink.

Again, much to my surprise, I had fun making these cards, and I have some ideas for other cards which I will share with you later in the week.
