Getting a little Hot

This is "Getting a little Hot".

The litte mice are playing with candles in this scene I created today for A Colorful Life Designs. Anything for a laugh in my humble opinion!
For the colouring I used distress oxide inks in Mustard Seed, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet. The blue and yellow mixed together made the green, a bonus.

I used the full stencil on the card front, and two of the candles for the inside of the card, using the same technique for colouring.
When I was done with the stencilling I splattered with white acrylic paint and the mustard seed distress oxide ink. I did the same for the inside of the card.

I placed the card in my mini Misti and stamped the mouse on the left side of the card, then coloured with Copic markers.
On a separate piece of card I stamped the larger mouse and coloured with Copic markers. I then fussy cut him out, and using a thin foam square attached him near the top of the candle.

On the inside of the card using VersaFine Clair ink I stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment.
The card is  5.5 inches square.

Needless to say, it was another fun card to make. The mouse came from a couple of Colorado Craft Company and I have listed them below. Thank you so much for visiting today.
