Sleepy Time

This is "Sleepy Time".

I have done this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com where we visited an interesting site called Crafts and DIY Ideas.

My inspiration came from the section on Fairy House Ideas, which reminded me of this stamp.
Using Neenah cardstock I stamped the image using Hickory Smoke oxide ink and proceeded to colour the image using Copic markers.

To colour the mushroom I used B34, R14, R24, R26; the warts and stem are done using E43, E41, E40 with E95; and the mouse is done using W5 and W2 along with E95.
Once done with the colouring I cut the mouse image out and styled it using my stylist set.

Using another piece of Neenah card I die cut a panel using the Paper Rose rectangle die then ran the embossing folder leaves through to add more texture to the background.
On the embossed panel I sponged on distress oxide ink in Twisted Citron, then blended in Salvaged Patina.

To attach to my card base I used foam tape for the embossed panel, and foam strips for the mushroom image. To finish I added the XOXOXO sentiment from the Tim Holtz Label Stickers along with a few Studio Katina sequins.
Thank you for joining me today.
