Thankful for you

Meet "Thankful for you".

The Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today comes to you from Sugar and Cloth. I used the pinterest page to search for my inspiration and came across this image.
For my card I decided to use Tim Holtz stamps to do my card, using different colours of Distress Oxide inks.

But first, my card using Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper is 4.5 x 6.25, with the panel being 4.25 x 6. I used navy card for my base.
I arranged the stamps in my original MISTIm then took out every second one. This allowed me room to ink the stamp left in the MISTI. I started on the left side of my card, moving across to the right, removing and adding stamps as I needed them.

The colours from left to right are: Mustard Seed, Villenous Potion, Spiced Marmalade, Barn Door, Prize Ribbon, Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry, Saltwater Taffy, Fossilized Amber, Broken China.Once I was finished stamping the flowers I put down Mowed Lawn on my workspace, spritzed with water and with my watercolour brush I added the lighter greens in the background.

Then using the same brush I added Rustic Wilderness along the bottom of the card. To finish I splattered with white watercolour and the Villenous Potion Oxide ink.Finishing up this card I attached my panel to my card base using foam tape. You may notice the uneven edge of watercolour paper at the bottom of the card, which is the raw edge of the paper which I opted to keep.

Thank you for joining me today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I have used for this card, at no extra expense to you.
