Peep Peep

 Meet "Peep Peep".

Here is another card that has me smiling. This cute set is from Lawn Fawn, and who could resist it. I could not, hence here it one card I made. And we have the new Saltwater Taffy distress ink, which I wanted to try out. Here I have also used Abandoned Coral, Cracked Campfire and Squeezed Lemonade.

For the chicks background I used the Squeezed Lemonade with Twisted Citron distress inks.
For the background I first did the stenciling on my Neenah card base using the Saltwater Taffy, Abandoned Coral and Crackling Campfire. Then lifting the stencil I continued brushing on the colour around the edges with the Squeezed Lemonade more in the centre.

I then cut the strip of card and brushed on the colours as mentioned, and attaching it to my card front using foam tape.
For the chicks I did some easy Copic colouring using only three markers, which are Y19, Y35 and YR68.

I then styled the chicks and attached them to the card strip using foam squares.
To finish I stamped the "peep peep" using VersaFine Clair ink in Tulip.

Thank you for joining me today. I very much appreciate your visits. Following are Affiliate links for the products I used for this card, at no extra expense to you.
