Flower Centre

These cards are "Flower Centre".

That is the name of the stencil I used, and I must say, I do like the stencil. The card on the left is for Ukraine, and the card on the right is for better times.
I started with this card using the stencil on my card base along with distress ink in Squeezed Lemonade along with Prize Ribbon.

I use brushes to add inks, which makes the application of the colour easy. Once done adding the colur I splattered the card with white watercolour.
Using a Photoplay die sentiment I die cut 3 pieces from white card, then cut a piece from gold card stock to attach to the top of the layers.

I also die cut the shadown using vellum as I did not want anything interferring with the colour, but I did want a hint of the layer.
Once I had finished the Ukraine card I wanted to use a bright colour for a spring colour, so I used the Squeezed Lemonade for the centre and Crackling Campfire for the outer portions. I just love that colour.

This time I did the stenciling on a separate piece of Neenah card and cut it to 4.0 x 5.25, attaching it to my card base using foam tape.
For a bit of sparkle I splattered the card with Midas Touch shimmer pen.

I then die cut the three pieces of the sentiment in white card, along with a gold piece for the top, gluing them all together using Nuvo adhesive.

These are easy cards to make for a quick but pretty card. I hope you have enjoyed them as well.
