Happy Dance

This is Happy Dance.

Two days in a row I am featuring Penguins, but I could not help myself. This Penguin is just too cute for words. And, my bird is jumping all over the place looking at the screen!
To start colouring this little one in my mini Misti I stamped the image on Hammermill card using Memento Ink. Using Copics I then coloured starting with the black 100, adding in C7 and C3 on the feet with a touch of C7 on the nose.

R27, R29 and R46 on the Santa Hat, with Y15 and YR04 for his bill. For the fur on the hat and the Pom Pom I used Nuvo Glitter Gloss. For the scarf I used YG05, YG07 and YG09.
For the background I spent some time in my bathroom with the fan on! Smells of any kind are a no-no for birds, so to protect CC I do this, and for you too.

I am using Alcohol ink card and started with the blending solution first. I then added in the colours and swirled the piece around to get it blending until I was happy. My colours are Pearl Sublime, Pistachio and Citrus.
I let the alcohol ink background dry overnight, then attached it to a Neenah card base.

I then attached the Penguin on an angle using foam tape. In my mini Misti I masked off the "be" on the stamp and inked with Ranger Vermillion ink and went around the label with red glitter marker.
Clearly, this stamp is so much fun to colour and makes for the cutest card.

I hope you have enjoyed it as much a I have, and thank you for your visit.
