Foxy Foxes

These are Foxy Foxes here to greet you.

This card I have done for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.co, which goes live tonight. I am hosting this challenge and have picked Anne of Green Gables to inspire us.The piece I picked for inspiration is this Fox Suncatcher. I have been wanting to use this fox set, which is now on sale, for some time now, and today's site gave me the opportunity.

In my mini Misti I stamped the foxes using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black, and die cut the foxes using the co-ordinating dies.

I coloured using Copic markers in several layers. For the foxes I started with E11, then added E23 and E97 with bits of E99. For the fur I used C3, C5 and W-2. In the ears there is E11, C3, R20, W2 and W5.On my card base I sponged on Cracked Pistachio. I then die cut a piece of card using my Penny Black die, which cuts the frame separate from the panel. On the panel I sponged on Salvaged Patina to the top and added Crackle Paste to the bottom. To the top piece of Salvaged Patina I splattered using white Gouache.

While waiting for the paste to dry I die cut the "winter" sentiment three times. On the top layer I coloured using Copics with a layer of BG13 then G05.I then styled the foxes using my stylist. With the crackle paste dry I added foam strips to the Salvaged Patina panel and affixed to the card base. I then glued in place the frame to the card base.

To the panel I attached the Foxes using foam squares, and then glued in place the winter die sentiment.Using my mini Misti and VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis, I stamped the sentiment "hugs" tucked under the Winter die. I then added the blue gem to dot the "i" and finish the card.

Yes, yet again a fun card to make.

I hope you enjoy this card today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I used for this card, at no extra cost to you.
