Live Love Lavinia Hop with Scrap'n Stamp

Hello Crafters! Are you ready for a bit of Whimsy. We are showcasing Lavinia Stamps for this hop.

I am sure the design team has some fabulous cards to share with you, I saw a few sneaks.

But before I get started with the cards I made for today, let me fill you in on the hop details. We will be giving away three (3) Surprise Prize Packs to some lucky winners who will be drawn from the names of those who leave comments on each of the design team blogs. We will announce the winners on the 17th of September, 2020.
And, Lavina Stamps are on sale at Scrap'n Stamp until Sunday at Midnight Pacific Time.

This is one of the cards I made using Star Gazing, Moon and Star Blossom. I did not have the Star Blossom, so I used the digital ones I had. I want to get the stamp though, as there is always more you can do with the stamps.

I first heat embossed the Moon using white embossing powder on Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper. To my work surface I put down Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink and spritzed several times with water., pouncing my paper in the puddle as I turned it, then dried. I then put down the Worn Lipstick and did the same process to add it to my card.

I printed on the Star Blossoms and added the Star Gazing. To the Star Blossoms I added Pink Gel Pen, and on the Wings I added White Gel Pen and Shimmer Glitter Gloss and painted the rocks with Distress Ink in Hickory Smoke with a bit of blue added.

Moving on to my second card for today. I did my background in the same way as above, this time using Worn Lipstick on the top and Cracked Pistachio along the bottom. I added splatters with the Worn Lipstick ink using my Fan Brush. The leaf vine is digital which I coloured a few shades darker than what the Pistachio colour is via my Paint-net software and printed out on my background.

I then stamped Moments Like This, adding Nuvo Shimmer to the Wings. With White Pigment Ink I added circles for a Bokeh look. The circles I die cut using mylar and several of my circle dies, which I can then use as a stencil.

I hope you have enjoyed today's cards and thank you for joining us for this hop. Next up is Chala. If you get turned around, following is the hop order.

Following are Affiliate Links for the products that I have used for these cards, at no extra cost to you.
