Dreams

One of the things I love most when playing with Alcohol Inks are the vibrancy of the colours, especially the red which is where I went for today's card.

I had these little pieces of Yupo left over from previous cuts and decided I would die cut them into circles to use on a card. There are three different sizes of circles with one glued to my card base and the others attached with foam squares.

I am using one colour of Alcohol Ink which is Poppyfield, and when the pieces were tacky, I added the gold foil for texture.

In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black, which was part on the largest Yupo circle, so I was sure to push in the area when I was stamping so I would not get that white lip.

I added a scattering of sequins and gems, but I felt it needed something else. I got out my little heart die by Penny Black and die cut it using Ranger Glossy cardstock gluing it to the medium sized circle. It doesn't look like it shows up on the card, but in real life it shows up well especially given the glossy paper.

It was nice to use up those little bits of paper and make something creative.
