Pearly Hello

Hello to all. I am back with a very quick card today using Alcohol Pearl Inks. I love the look of the Pearl and wish you could see the properties in it that create the pearl look.

For my card I am using the Alchemy (Yellow) and Splendor (Orange) from the Tim Holtz Alcohol Pearl Inks Kit 1, and from Kit 2 I am using Intrigue (Pink).

Using Yupo paper I applied Blending Solution to my cut piece of paper. I then turned the sheet to allow movement of the colours and blending, giving a beautiful colour, but leaving bits of the yellow and orange. There were hints of the pink, but I dropped in a few more drops to make it more prominent.

The last time I was playing with these inks I made a few pieces using the yellow orange and pink in a stripe on glossy cardstock. This is what I used to die cut the "hello" die. For the underlay "hello" I used white vellum.

To finish I added a few gum drops in the Yellow, Orange and Pink.
