You may recall this card I made a few weeks back using Vicki Boutin Acrylic Paints. At the time I also did this background, using the paints and A Colorful Life Design Stencil. I used the same colours on this card, being Blue Hawaiian, Sugared Strawberry and Crushed Pineapple.
First up, the stencil work is done on Tim Holtz Distress Watercolour Paper as I wanted that white background behind the flowers. To paint I added a bit of water and painted like I would do my watercolour, being careful with the stencil.
Once panel was done I die cut it with my Spellbinder die, then sponged on Leaf Green ink to a couple of the corners, then matted with the bright pink cardstock.
In my mini Misti stamped and die cut a couple of the small butterflies from the Altenew Butterflies stamp set and coloured with Copic markers, then attached using foam squares.
I added a few sequins and gems, then stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink. I matted with the pink and attached to the card with foam squares to finish.
Another happy card complete and ready to mail.
