I can't help but smile when I see these bear images by Penny Black. They are calling my name for some colour.
I first started this card by stencilling the background using A Colorful Life Leaf Lattice stencil along with Distress Inks in Cracked Pistachio and Evergreen Bought. I did the frame with the Evergreen Bough, and die cut the stencilled panel with my Penny Black Elegant Stitching Die, which is attached using fun foam.
For the bear I again used Distress Inks to watercolour, using Scattered Straw, Brushed Corduroy and Vintage Photo, along with Spun Sugar and Abandoned Coral for the flower. Once I finished the water colouring I fussy cut the letters out, and attached the Y and U using Nuvo adhesive, and the O is attached on foam squares.
A close up shows a bit more of the detail on the bear.
Following is the video I have done, and affiliate links to the products I have used for this card for both USA and beside those links you will find Canadian Links when available.
