Luck of Friendship

This is my card sample for the CAS challenge at Splitcoaststampers this week. Seeing as it is St. Patrick's Day, our hostess Lee has asked for cards about luck. I feel we are lucky to have our good friends, so I based my card on that.
For this card I am testing some water colour paper I received with my recent order from Jackson's Art Supplies in the U.K. called Stonehenge. It is a 300lb. cold press paper, and feels wonderful.

I printed and traced the Shamrock leaf on to some masking paper, cutting it out and attached it to the paper. I then added Color Burst in Lime Green and Chartreuse, keeping it close to the leaf.
Once the colour was complete I dried the paper with my heat gun then die cut the panel using my Penny Black die. I used my Gemini with the metal plate for this task and did 2 passes and the cut was very clean. In my mini Misti I then stamped my sentiment, which is from Frantic Stamper using Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black.
To finish I did some splattering, first covering the Shamrock, but then I changed my mind and splattered on the leaf as well. To keep the card light I attached my panel to a yellow card base.
Here is the video showing my process on this card.
I hope you have enjoyed my card and thank you for visiting.
