Perfectly Perfect

I very much enjoyed making this card today, and look forward to using this set again. I made this particular card as my sample for the Clean and Simple challenge at Splitcoaststampers.
The challenge is to use the letters from the word "COLD" on our cards. I decided on the following:
                                           C~Clear stamps
                                           O~Oval die
                                           L~Leaves
                                           D~Distress Inks
Using Neenah Solar Crest 110lb card stock for my card base I also die cut the oval and in my Misti stamped the flower using Memento Ink. I then stamped the leaves, with one hanging off the edge and proceeded to colour using my Life Changing Brushes and distress inks in Twisted Citrus, Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean.
Once done with the colour I applied Wink of Stella to areas of the petals, along with the leaves. I put the card back in my Misti, placing the oval where it would be and stamped the sentiment using the Memento Ink. I then attached the oval using foam tape and finished with a few white sequins.

  1. Oh, sweet Kia! I've missed you so much and I love this sweet and perfect card! I always love your elegant CAS card, and this is so beautiful with the colors you chose! I finally "caved" and purchased the entire set of Life Changing Blending Brushes, and oh my! I absolutely love them. What a big difference they make, and I love that I no longer need all those sponges. Truly, you've inspired me so much, and thanks for stopping by and giving me a cyber hug on my blog. Glad to have finally made a card...still exhausted, but I'm slowly getting there. Warm, sunny hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
