Believe

I am over on the My Sweet Petunia blog with this card today.
I wasn't sure about the design when I started, it came about as I worked on the card.
I started by using my Original Misti and Creative Corners for this card. I moved the stamps for the first two bells, and moved the paper for the balance.
I stamped using Versamark Ink and heat embossed using Silver Embossing Powder, then proceeded to watercolour using several different manufacturers today. I started with Daniel Smith Manganese Blue, then Schmincke May Green, Daniel Smith Phthalo Turquoise, Schmincke Cobalt Turquoise, Winsor Newton Permanent Pink and Winsor Newton Violet Dioxazine. I also dragged a few of the watercolours below and around the bells.
I knew I wanted to use the Believe die, but was not sure on the card stock, so why not cut a few. I also die cut a few snowflakes using white glitter card stock.
I settled on using the Mirror Sky card stock as a shadow to the silver glitter card stock for my sentiment, and glued them together. But first, I splattered my panel using Kuretake White Gold watercolour and Schmincke Cobalt Turquoise. I then attached my panel to a blue/turquoise card base.
I attached the Believe sentiment using foam squares that I cut to fit. I like the bit of dimension that it gives to the card. And, so typically me, I just noticed while looking at the card that I failed to dot the "i". Honestly Kia .... it is done now with a crystal gem.
I do hope you have enjoyed this card today, and would like to thank you for joining me.
