Joy Christmas

I am playing along with the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today, where we had a visit to Christmas Central. I picked this for my inspiration but I reversed the colours, doing a red background and white"ish" tree.

My background is done with one colour of alcohol ink being Poppyfield. I die cut the panel with my Birch Press die, and stamped the images using Alcohol Ink Lift-Ink.
I then die cut the rectangle 6 in 1 frame to frame the stamping portion of the card and attached it to the alcohol ink panel using foam squares. I then die cut the Joy sentiment from gold metallic paper and glued on to the frame. This die is from Cottage Cutz, but I don't think it is available any longer, which is a shame as I love the size of it.

I also re-stamped the images on to white cardstock and have them inside my card with a Merry Christmas Greeting embossed with gold embossing powder.
I hope you have enjoyed this card and thank you for visiting my blog today. I have included links to the products I used, at no cost to you.

  1. Your alcohol ink lift results are amazing! There's so much interest in the red background! The framing is lovely too.
