Trick or Treat

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I hope my fellow Canadians have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

I am back today with a card that I made for Scrap'n Stamp.
I opted for a tall card, being 3.75 x 8.5, as I wanted to use a lot of stamps. I had this card on my mind for a bit now. It is almost as if these images were designed for each other, yet they are from two different companies, one being Concord & 9th and the other My Favorite Things.

I started with my sky and moon, masking off the moon area while I did the sky, where I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Shaded Lilac, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet. I removed the mask on the moon and covered the sky while doing the moon using Antique Linen and Wild Honey. I then used the hose on my Mini Mister to mark on the moon, and sprinkled the entire area with water droplets.

I then added the stamped and die cut the images using my Gemini and coloured using Chameleon Markers. I did three layers for the tree hills, two with the trees and one a grass layer. The die set has the die to cut the treeless grass area, and I drew in the grass to match the hills with the trees, and sponged all the grass with Peeled Paint. The last row of trees and the houses are attached using foam squares and glue, and the critters are attached using foam squares. I added some Wink of Stella to the cape on the fox.

I hope you enjoy this card today, and would like to thank you for visiting my blog. Below are links to the Scrap'n Stamp store where you can find all the products I have used on this card.
