Framed Fall Leaf

I spent some time playing with my alcohol inks on Sunday, and this is one of the backgrounds that I did. I knew I wanted to use this leaf die for a card, so I made the background to suit it, which I think it does.

I used Yupo paper, Tim Holtz Alcohol inks, Blending Solution and my distress marker spritzer, which makes moving the ink much easier. I die cut the frame from the white cardstock, and cut the leaf from metallic green cardstock, attaching both with foam squares.
To finish I added a few glossy sequins.
Thank you for visiting my blog today.

  1. Wow, this is gorgeous, Kia! I love your alcohol ink background. The warm fall colors are so beautiful and the AI effect is very interesting. The white frame enhances the AI colors and the maple leaf die-cut looks awesome! Hideko xx
